Quiet the mind. Open the heart. See life in a new way.

Online, on the land, or on-demand, Spirit Rock provides a refuge from everyday life dedicated to the liberation of all beings.

Spirit Rock supports practitioners at every stage of their path to grow a vibrant and nourishing spiritual life. All of our programs weave together meditation, Dharma teachings, and the cultivation of spiritual community.

We are committed to diversity and to offering financial assistance to those who need it. We welcome practitioners of all backgrounds and levels of experience to join our community of learning, support, and connection.

Through practice, we can learn to make our own hearts a place of peace and integrity. With a quiet mind and an open heart we can sense the reality of interdependence. Inner and outer are not separate. Once we see this clearly, we can extend the same principles of love and mindfulness to every area.

Living Dharma Program

This program is designed for meditators and Buddhist practitioners wishing to engage wholeheartedly in a deep exploration and practice of the Dharma through the study and teaching of the Buddha’s “Noble Eightfold Path.” Using the classical Buddhist teachings of sīla, samādhi, and pañña (ethics, meditation, and wisdom), we will look at how we cultivate mindfulness, kindness, and balance given the inner stresses of modern life, and the outer challenges of social inequity and the pressure of climate change.
